Overview   top
Records are (primarily) small pieces of information with a function. You can enter web addresses, phone numbers, FaceTime IDs, e-mail addresses, and upon opening the record, CerebraLock will perform the corresponding function: call the number, open a new e-mail etc.

Notes records can contain social security numbers, bank accounts, credit card IDs and so on. Document records can contain special documents such as birth certificates, driver licenses or similar.

Common to all records are the description and notes fields. The description will be displayed as the document description. The notes field can contain any additional information you want to enter.

: record options.

Website   top
: (Think world wide web.) Website records contain web addresses along with an optional user ID and password. When you open a website record you will be switched to the web browser (Web Browser) and the website will be called up.

At the same time, the user ID and password will be available for pasting into the respective fields. Tap and hold in either field and as part of the edit menu you will see two extra entries next to 'Paste': USER ID and PASSWORD. Tap either one to paste its information into the text field. This should greatly ease the pain of managing conventional passwords.

Tap to pick the website from your address book. Tap to switch to the web browser. Navigate to the desired web address. On exit you can have CerebraLock enter the address into the record.

If required by the website you can also enter a user ID and a password in the record. Tap to call up the password generator. Now may be a good time to change your passwords to (more) secure ones!
